The Original 12


The first Fairy Tails birds release by Hasbro in late 1986/early 1987 was a set of 12 birds. The theme on the boxes for this series are tree branches with multicolored pastel leaves and soft white puffy clouds.
They have tri-colored head plumes and tails and a painted symbol on their chest relating to their name.
Each bird came with a perch, a bird-shaped comb, a satin ribbon and a tulle "mesh" ribbon.
