Winter Sunset Skyline, 2008

A mishap with a dye experiment led to this pretty baby. Newborn fakie baby base, dyed with Rit dye, then some dye was remove with a cotton swap soaked in acetone before the dye set fully, for a cloud-streaked look. The tree silhouettes and eyes were painted with acrylics, then her body sealed with a satin sealer and her eyes with gloss medium. Her hair is a 4 color blend of Dollyhair.com nylon in Forget me Not, After Midnight, Mulberry Crush, and Sugarplum.
